New timetables for several London bus routes will be introduced this weekend.

These changes will affect routes 28, 39, 72, 94, 105, 148, 272, 283, 285, 460, 493, 499, C1, K1, K2, and K3 from Saturday, June 28.

Transport for London (TfL) operates one of the largest bus networks in the world, running over 8,000 buses across more than 600 routes.

The service is designed to provide affordable, frequent, and accessible public transport across all parts of the capital, including night buses and 24-hour routes.

Some of the changes this weekend are temporary, while others are permanent.

Changes have been made to some routes due to roadworks in the Shepherd’s Bush area.

Route 28 will have a new timetable on all days of the week, with the frequency restored to every 10 minutes during the daytime from Monday to Saturday and every 12 minutes during the daytime on Sundays.

There will be no change during the evenings.

A temporary timetable will be introduced on route 39, widening the frequency of the service to every 8 minutes during the AM and peak on Monday to Fridays, every 9–10 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays, and every 13–14 minutes during the daytime on Sundays.

There will be no change at any other time.

This timetable will be in place during the tennis at Wimbledon.

Route 72 will also have a temporary timetable, widening the frequency of the service to every 12 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays, and every 13 minutes during the daytime on Sundays.

There will be no change during the evenings.

This timetable will be in place until roadworks in the Shepherd’s Bush area are complete.

Route 94 will have a temporary timetable, widening the frequency of the service to every 9 – 10 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Fridays, every 10 minutes during the daytime on Saturdays, and every 11–12 minutes during the daytime on Sundays.

There will be no change during the evenings or to the night service.

This timetable will be in place until roadworks in the Shepherd’s Bush area are complete.

Route 105 will have a new timetable on all days of the week, with the frequency increased to a bus every 12 minutes during the daytime on Sundays.

The current temporary timetable will be removed, with buses returning to running every 12 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 15 minutes during the evenings on all days of the week.

The night service remains at a bus every 30 minutes on all nights of the week.

Due to major works in the Shepherd’s Bush area, route 148 will be curtailed to run between Camberwell Green and Shepherd’s Bush Green only between 8am and 8pm on all days of the week.

Route 148 buses will terminate at bus stop E outside the W12 Shopping Centre on the southern side of the green and will pick up from bus stop X on the northern side of the green.

For White City, same-stop interchange with routes 31 and 228 can be made between Holland Park Station and Shepherd’s Bush Roundabout, or alternatively any bus route that uses Wood Lane between Shepherd’s Bush and White City.

There is no change to the frequency of route 148.

This change will be in place until roadworks in the Shepherd’s Bush area are complete.

A temporary timetable will be introduced on route 272, widening the frequency of the service to every 17 minutes during the daytime and every 32 minutes during the evenings on all days of the week.

This timetable will be in place until roadworks in the Shepherd’s Bush area are complete.

Route 283 will have a temporary timetable, widening the frequency of the service to every 11 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Fridays, every 12 minutes during the daytime on Saturdays, every 14 minutes during the daytime on Sundays, and every 13 minutes during the evenings on all days of the week.

This timetable will be in place until roadworks in the Shepherd’s Bush area are complete.
