Designer Colours, in Honeypot Lane, Stanmore, will be shutting up shop for good on July 4.

The shop has served the area for more than 30 years. (Image: Akshey Shah) The business, which was started by the Shah family, began as S&S Home Supplies Ltd, a Kingsbury-based hardware and DIY shop, in 1974.
Over the years, it grew into a small retail empire, with the Stanmore shop opening in the early 1990s and later becoming the home of the Axus Decor brand.
