Shuja Gibraeel Mohsin, 19, is charged with two counts of dissemination of terrorist publications on March 1 2023.
He is further charged with collecting information of use to a person committing or preparing acts of terrorism on January 9 2024 relating to a document entitled “homemade C-4, a recipe for survival” .
The defendant appeared before Mrs Justice Cheema-Grubb for a preliminary hearing.
His barrister, Jonathan Page, indicated Mohsin would deny the charges against him “in terms of any mindset and intention”.
Mrs Justice Cheema-Grubb set a plea hearing for September 26 with a provisional trial at the Old Bailey from June 8 next year.
The defendant was granted further conditional bail.
