Islington Square in Upper Street is hosting free screenings of the Championships from June 30 to July 13 in partnership with Urban Food Fest.

Visitors can watch the action from deck chairs or bring blankets to relax.

Food and drink options will be available from nearby venues including Megan’s, OMNOM, and The Bottle Cocktail Shop.

On the weekends of July 5 to 6 and July 12 to 13, an artisan market will run from 11am to 5pm, with free cocktails or soft drinks offered with every market purchase.

Emma Mackenzie, director at Islington Square, said: “We’re excited to bring Wimbledon to Islington Square this summer and offer a fun way for people to enjoy the tournament together.

“Whether you’re a tennis fan or just looking for a great day out, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.”

The market will also serve Pimm’s, gin and tonics, rum cocktails, and ginger ale mocktails.

Families can enjoy free children’s arts and crafts activities, including tennis ball decorating and Wimbledon-themed colouring.

Wimbledon-inspired desserts will also be available for purchase.

Islington Square is a shopping, dining, and entertainment destination located between Angel and Highbury & Islington.
