Since 2021 the paddock habitat has undergone improvements, including expanding the size and adding access to the nearby woodland for the new arrivals.

In a statement, Park Manager Claire Lanes said that the deer are “settling in really well” since arriving last month, and advised visitors that the deer may not be visible initially as they acclimatise to their new surroundings.

Clare Lanes, Park Manager of Greenwich Park, said: “The deer have been back for one month now and are settling in really well.
“They are keeping to themselves as they get used to their new environment which is why they might be harder to spot for the first few months.
“We check on them daily and are very pleased to have them back in the park.”
