Route 315 extended to Springfield Hospital

Bus route 315 will now run beyond its usual terminus at Balham Station, continuing on to Springfield University Hospital.

The extended route will travel via Balham High Road, Tooting Bec Station, Trinity Road, Glenburnie Road, and Springfield Drive before terminating at the hospital.

The frequency of service will remain unchanged – buses will operate every 20 minutes during the day (Monday to Saturday), and every 30 minutes in the evenings and on Sundays.

However, stop changes are also coming into effect.

West Norwood-bound buses will no longer serve stops A (Balham Station Road) or D (Balham High Road).

Passengers should now use stop B on Balham High Road instead.

Route G1 returns to Springfield Hospital grounds

Following the completion of works at Springfield University Hospital, route G1 will once again enter the hospital grounds.

Buses will run in both directions via Burntwood Lane, Springfield Drive, Lapidge Drive, and Bicknell Way, serving bus stop Y inside the hospital site.

Additionally, the G1 will now operate with improved frequency – every 20 minutes during the day and every 30 minutes in the evenings, seven days a week.

TfL advises passengers to check updated timetables and stop information before travelling.
