The Lady is a new four-part television series that will explore the true story of the rise and fall of Sarah Ferguson’s former royal dresser Jane Andrews, who was convicted of murder.
Gayton Road, off Hampstead High Street, is due be closed tomorrow (Saturday April 26) for shooting.
Nearby Gayton Crescent was closed for filming today (Friday, April 25).
Produced by multi award-winning independent production company, Left Bank Pictures, who were behind The Crown, The Lady will tell the rags to riches story of Andrews, a young working-class girl from Grimsby.

To the astonishment of her friends, she answers an advertisement in the magazine The Lady and becomes the Duchess of York’s dresser at Buckingham Palace.
Jane manages to secure a place among the highest social circles, only to lose her job with the Duchess after nine years of service.
She meets and falls in love with charismatic businessman Thomas Cressman but later beats him with a cricket bat and stabs him in the heart with a kitchen knife as he lies in bed at their home in Fulham.
She leaves him dying – calling her friends on her mobile phone as if nothing had happened.

How to Have Sex star Mia McKenna-Bruce will lead the series as Andrews, with Natalie Dormer (Game of Thrones) set to star as the Duchess of York.
Ed Speleers, known for his roles in Outlander, will play Thomas Cressman and the cast also includes British heavyweights Philip Glenister and Claire Skinner.
The series will air on ITV1 and STV and stream on ITVX and STV Player in the UK and BritBox in North America.
