The Dominican friars at the Parish of Our Lady of the Rosary and St Dominic, in Southampton Road, Gospel Oak, are inviting people to join them for a requiem mass on Wednesday (April 30) at 6pm.
The Pope died following a stroke aged 88 on Easter Monday, just a day after greeting crowds in Vatican City. He will be buried on Saturday.
The Camden Faith Forum has extended its “sincere condolences to the Catholic community here in Camden and across the world, as well as to those who found inspiration in Pope Francis”.

The forum’s co-chairs Cllr Nadia Shah and Cllr Rebecca Filer added: “We join Catholic residents, as well as those of all faiths and none, in mourning the loss of His Holiness Pope Francis – a spiritual leader who inspired millions around the world.
“Here in Camden, we are proud of our diverse and inclusive community, which includes a significant number of Catholic residents as well as many who found inspiration in Pope Francis’ messages of tolerance and hope.”
