Officers pursued a car in Harrow after trying to stop it on Sheepcote Road on Monday (April 21) at 12.25am.
It was eventually stopped a short while later after the driver pulled over.
Police arrested a 16-year-old girl at the scene, who was later charged with driving a vehicle otherwise in accordance with a licence, driving with no insurance and failing to stop for police.
Two passengers inside the car were also detained when the girl was arrested.
The Metropolitan Police says that no injuries were reported during the chase.
A Met spokesperson said: “At approximately 12.25am on Monday (April 21), police attempted to stop a vehicle on Sheepcote Road in Harrow.
“The vehicle initially failed to stop for police but following a short pursuit it eventually pulled over and the driver and two other occupants were detained.
“A 16 year old female was arrested at the scene, and later charged with driving a motor vehicle otherwise in accordance with a licence, driving with no insurance, and failing to stop for police.”
