The London Borough of Bromley has published multiple planning notices, reflecting a mix of retrospective approvals and new applications.
The notices, released on April 16, detail proposals that range from boundary wall reconstructions to significant extensions and alterations to existing buildings.
One application is for 3 Denbridge Road in Bickley, where a part retrospective approval is sought for the demolition and reconstruction of a front boundary wall.
This project includes the installation of two sets of vehicular gates and native hedging, all within the Bickley Park Conservation Area.
In Beckenham, two applications have been submitted for 22 High Street.
The first involves shopfront alterations, including a new awning, which has been marked as retrospective.
The second application at the same address seeks permission for the installation of an internally illuminated fascia sign and a non-illuminated hanging sign.
Chislehurst is also seeing significant planning activity, particularly at Frogpool Manor Farm on Perry Street, where an extraction and ventilation flue is proposed for installation in a listed building.
Another application in Chislehurst, located at 11 Coniscliffe Close, seeks to construct a single-storey side and part rear extension.
Meanwhile, at 42 Cator Road in Sydenham, a comprehensive redevelopment is proposed.
This includes the demolition of existing side and rear extensions and the construction of a new single-storey side extension, along with a part one/two-storey rear extension.
The project also includes a loft conversion with a rear hip-to-gable roof, conservation rooflights, and a Juliette balcony.
In Brenchley Gardens, a new single-storey detached outbuilding is proposed at 15 Hillside Hill.
This project, which includes decking, is designed to enhance the garden space while respecting the Downs Hill Conservation Area’s character.
The planning notices also include a more extensive application at Downe Court on Sudah Road in Orpington.
This proposal encompasses a single-storey rear extension, a roof link for a loft conversion, and the creation of an external swimming pool with associated landscaping.
The project aims to refurbish the listed building while adding modern amenities.
Lastly, the South Suburban Co-op Society has submitted a Section 73 application for the variation of conditions related to community use and floodlights for a significant development project in Beckenham.
This project includes plans for two buildings comprising educational facilities and sports amenities, which will serve the local community.
