Winston Wright, 43, of Tressillian Crescent in Lewisham, stole from a number of different stores throughout March.
On March 12 he stole two boxes of Easter chocolate bars worth over £50 from Sainsbury’s on Deptford High Street.
Then two days later Wright stole £70 of Easter eggs from Sainsbury’s on nearby Creek Road.
On March 19 he then stole £75 of chocolate bars from the same shop.
Wright pleaded guilty to the three thefts at a hearing at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on March 25.
He also pleaded guilty to failing to provide a sample for a Class A drugs test.
He was due to be sentenced on Tuesday, April 5, but the hearing was adjourned for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
Wright was remanded in custody until he is sentenced on May 6.
