Married couple Kirsty and Tim Smith founded Pamper Me Pretty & Co. in December 2023 and opened their first store in their hometown of Maldon.
The Brentwood store is the company’s second and will open on April 26 in The Baytree Shopping Centre.
“We’re really excited to open,” said Kirsty.
“The feedback we’ve had is huge so we know we’re going to be popular.

Kirsty explained that she and Tim originally spotted a gap in the market around two years ago as a result of taking their daughter, Freya, to party locations around Maldon.
“It’s a dedicated party venue and we offer a luxury experience – it’s a great place to be,” she added.
“The inspiration was my little girl (Freya) because the birthday parties that I took her to cost so much money and weren’t that great to be honest.
“We came up with the idea of having a pamper party venue and she’s been the little CEO of the business.

Kirsty recalled setting up a Pamper Me Pretty stall at the Brentwood Christmas light switch-on event last year which went “really well” – a contributor to her decision to set up a permanent venue here.
“We were originally looking for a venue in Loughton but then this spot came up in Brentwood and I though it must be fate because this is where we were for the light switch-on,” she added.
“I knew this was a good area and people loved it here so that was that.”
Kirsty is confident that the Brentwood venue will be successful as the Maldon venue has been popular across its first year and a half (Image: Pamper Me Pretty & Co.) She is now looking forward to the opening day next Saturday (April 26) which will be an opportunity for parents and children to visit and find out what the company has to offer.
“What makes us different is that we offer hands-off experiences for parents – they book the party and then we sort everything out – they just need to turn up on the day,” she said.
“The opening day is going to be a really nice day for little girls to come down as we’re doing free hair and face glitter, goody bags, cupcakes and drinks for parents.
“We want people to come in, have a look around and then if they want to book their parties in they can.”
