The incident was first reported in High Street, Beckenham near Village Way at around 9pm today (April 17).
A picture, obtained by the News Shopper, shows multiple cordons in place surrounding a bus and a vehicle.
It is currently unknown whether any injuries were reported.
Bus routes 227, 352, 354 and N3 are on diversion as the incident is being deal with.
We have contacted Metropolitan Police, London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade for further information.
The full AA statement says: “Road closed due to crash on A222 High Street both ways between A234 Beckenham Road and Village Way.
“Detour in operation – for bus routes 227, 352, 354 and N3.”
