Whitefield School, in Claremont Road, Cricklewood, will become Clarion School on Friday, July 11.
To celebrate this new chapter, the school is inviting the community to join in the festivities at Claremont Park from 2pm to 6pm, promising an afternoon of live entertainment, fun activities, and community spirit.
The rebranding comes after the school achieved its best-ever exam results, placing it in the top 9% of schools nationally.
The new name, Clarion, was chosen after consulting with parents, students, and the local community.
The school says it reflects its commitment to illuminating young minds and nurturing bright futures, while also referring to its location on Claremont Road.
The renamed school will have a broader curriculum, improved learning facilities, and redesigned school uniforms.
Clarion School will continue to provide secondary and sixth form education to young people aged 11 to 19, and currently has more than 700 students.
