The hunt has been on since October to find the winner of a ticket – and it’s a life-changing one, worth £10,000 a month for the next 30 years.
The missing ticket was bought in the Sevenoaks District of Kent for the Set For Life draw on October 24, 2024.
It matched the five main numbers 2, 11, 29, 37, 45, and the Life Ball 6 to win the top prize and must be claimed by Tuesday (April 22).
In a final push to unite the mystery ticketholders with their incredible prize and the lifelong luxuries it could bring, the National Lottery took to the streets of Sevenoaks to alert locals and urge everyone to search for the winning ticket.
Giant replicas of the winning Set For Life ticket and oversized newspapers appeared at landmarks across Sevenoaks, urging locals to check if they were the missing winner.
Allwyn, the operator of The National Lottery, also called in trusted Winners’ Advisor and Kent local Kathy Garrett.
Also known as the ‘Billionaire Lady’, Kathy has helped winners claim over £1 billion and says the first step is to think back to autumn.
She said: “The winning draw took place a week before Halloween, so think about where you were when you were about to carve your pumpkin or preparing for trick or treating.
“Rummage through your warm coats and double-check that this winning ticket hasn’t inadvertently been stowed away with your hats, scarves and gloves.”
Kathy also encourages people to thoroughly inspect their vehicles.
She said: “We once had a very fortunate builder who came forward not long before his ticket was due to expire.
“He won over £50 million and had left the winning ticket in the sun visor of his work van.
“I can’t emphasise enough how important it is to search the places you’d least expect.
“This kind of prize not only transforms the life of the winner, it’s typically life-changing for their loved ones, too.
“With just days to go, we’re doing everything in our power to make sure this mystery person or syndicate comes forward, so they can enjoy the endless possibilities this prize offers.”
This isn’t the first time attempts have been made to find this specific winner.
Last month, The National Lottery teamed up with Southeastern at Sevenoaks Station to help track down the missing winner, using custom signage, digital platform displays, and announcements voiced by a past winner.
Andy Carter, Senior Winners Advisor at Allwyn, operators of The National Lottery said: “If you bought a Set For Life ticket in the Sevenoaks District for the draw on October 24, it’s time to look everywhere – in the pockets of clothes you might have been wearing at the time, bags, in the car, wallets and purses and in that sideboard or drawer where we all tend to put bits and pieces – and check your tickets.
“Do you live or work in the area, do you have family and friends there who you were visiting, or were you just passing through?
“Every single month for the next 30 years – that’s an incredible 360 months – will see the lucky ticket-holder banking £10,000, if only they would come forward.
“We’re urging everyone who bought a ticket in this area to check their old Set for Life tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.
“We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.”
