Cuppa’ Chaii, located at 112 High Street, officially opened on February 14, bringing with it a menu packed with homemade chai, freshly baked pastries, street food favourites, and ethically sourced coffee.
The new branch marks an expansion from the franchise’s flagship site in Wimbledon and is the latest addition to Bromley’s growing independent food scene.
The café’s spiced tea is based on a recipe first served in Karachi in 1966, passed down from the founder’s grandmother and updated with a modern South Asian twist.

“We looked around south east London and this was the place we loved,” said store manager Fariha Khan, who runs the Bromley branch with her husband.
“The response has been very nice – people love the chai and desserts.”
The café offers a welcoming space for customers to relax, socialise, or play games while enjoying a range of hot drinks, cakes, paninis, and street food snacks.
Fariha added: “We sell a lot of specialist chai drinks and coffees, from macchiatos to traditional tea.
“We also do cheesecakes, pastries and hot food — we try to have something for everyone.”

All food is prepared fresh daily, and the café stays open seven days a week, often as late as 11pm on weekends.
With a team of seven staff and a warm, community-focused atmosphere, Cuppa’ Chaii is quickly becoming a new favourite for Bromley locals seeking authentic flavours and friendly vibes.
Fariha, who spent seven months preparing the launch, said the most rewarding part of the job is “meeting new people and serving good food and making people smile.”
