Havering Council has received an application on behalf of The Sutton Arms for the licence.
The bid has been made by Ei Group Limited, which was bought by the Stonegate Group, the largest UK pub company, in 2020.
Details on the document submitted to the council have revealed that the pub is seeking to provide “films, live music, recorded music, performances of dance, late night refreshment, supply of alcohol”.

According to The Sutton Arms’ website, it is already in possession of a “late licence” and hosts a series of events including DJ nights.
The pub is open from 11am to 11pm Monday to Thursday and on Sundays, and from 11am to 1am on Friday and Saturday.
