Emergency services were called to Swain’s Lane shortly after 8pm yesterday (April 10) and a man was found stabbed.
He was treated at the scene and then taken to hospital by ambulance.
His condition is not known at this stage, nor if there have been any arrests.
A police cordon was put up at the junction with Highgate Road outside the Duke of St Albans pub.
It is understood that the incident happened outside Superstate grocery shop – which has said it will be closed today (April 11).
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 8.10pm on Thursday 10 April to reports of a stabbing on Swain’s Lane, N6.
“We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car, an incident response officer and a clinical team manager.
“We also dispatched a trauma team in a car from London’s Air Ambulance.
“Our first paramedics arrived in five minutes.
“We treated a man at the scene and took him to a major trauma centre.”
The Metropolitan Police was also contacted for comment.
