Police say they were alerted at 9.51pm on Thursday (April 10) to reports of an attack in Swain’s Lane, Highgate.
Officers joined the London Ambulance Service at Superettes grocery shop where they said a 34-year-old man had received stab wound injuries to his back from a small group of men.
Scotland Yard said the injuries “were not deemed to be life-threatening or life-changing”.
A 54-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
The Metropolitan Police say he is still in custody for questioning.
Enquiries are ongoing.
