Dagenham Avenue will shut on April 17 for 29 days to allow for civil engineering work.
The works will take place between 8am and 5pm each day until the estimated completion date on May 15.
Stretching from the junction with Heathway for a distance of 58 metres, the closure will also prevent vehicles from turning left from Heathway into Dagenham Avenue.

On top of this, there will be no right turns allowed from Hedgemans Road into Dagenham Avenue.
The diversion route will be via Heathway, Hedgemans Road, Talbot Road, Dagenham Avenue and vice versa.
