Officers were called to reports of a serious assault in Cherry Tree Lane shortly after 5.30am on March 29.
At the scene, they discovered a man who had been stabbed.
He was taken to hospital in a critical condition, but his condition was confirmed to have improved the following day

A crime scene was erected near the corner with Rainham Road.
It has now been revealed that a 43-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent in connection to the incident.
He has been bailed pending further enquiries.
