The police and ambulance attended Gaverick Mews around 9pm yesterday (April 4) after a report that a man has been attacked by two other men in a stabbing
The victim was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital, but the injuries have not been specified.
The injuries are thought to be neither life-threatening nor changing.
An area by the entrance to Kingsbridge Estate was cordoned off after the incident with officers in attendance.
There have been no arrests but enquiries are said by police to be continuing “at pace”.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 21:00 yesterday (4 April) to reports of a stabbing at Westferry Road, E14.
“We sent resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, an incident response officer and a paramedic in a fast response car.
“Our crews treated a person at the scene, before conveying them to a local hospital.”
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Around 21:00hrs on Friday, 4 April, police and the London Ambulance Service attended Gaverick Mews, following reports that a man had been attacked by two men.
“A man in his 30s was taken to hospital, where his injuries were assessed as non-life-threatening and non-life-changing.
“The investigation is at an early stage, and no arrests have yet been made. Enquiries are continuing at pace.”
