The nominees for Muddy Stilettos’ 2025 Regional Finals include Little Mercies in Crouch End, Humble Grape in Islington, and Equal Parts in Hackney.
These bars have made it to the final five in the awards, which celebrate outstanding local businesses.
The competition, which aims to highlight the best of the best in 35 Muddy counties, is now open for the public to cast their votes.
Little Mercies, which opened in October 2018, is a Crouch End cocktail bar and restaurant that has already bagged numerous awards.
The bar, which also offers a range of bottled and canned cocktails online and at various shops and websites, has a hidden gem of a food menu that it claims might be the best-kept secret in north London.
Situated just a short walk from Angel Tube Station or Essex Road Station, Humble Grape in Islington offers a unique wine bar experience.
With an inviting, spacious dining area and an emerald-tiled bar, the venue is known for its rustic charm and modern elegance.
The bar boasts a collection of over 400 wines from around the world, all sourced directly from passionate winemakers.
It also hosts monthly wine tastings and masterclasses.
Elsewhere, Equal Parts in Hackney is known for its vinyl records, expertly crafted drinks, and cosy atmosphere.
The bar offers a chance for patrons to relax, discover new sounds, or simply enjoy the local scene.
The Muddy Awards have become a yearly highlight, recognising the hard work and dedication of local businesses.
The awards have 27 categories, including best café, beauty salon, boutique stay, and family experience, among others.
Other north London businesses have also made it to the finals.
Union Chapel in Islington is competing in the arts, culture, and theatre category, while The Three Crowns in Stoke Newington and The Albion in Islington are in the running for the destination pub category.
Cobble Lane Cured in Islington is nominated in the local food/drink producer category, while Urban Flower Co in Crouch End is up for the best florist award.
Okan Caylak of Great Bear Fitness in Southgate is competing for the sport and fitness instructor award.
Voting for the regional finals will close on April 15 at 1pm.

The winners will not only receive the prestigious title of London’s best but will also be put forward for the national Muddy Awards, which will crown the best of the best across all 35 Muddy counties.
