Western Road in Romford, between numbers 10 and 14 Haylards Court, will be shut between 9.30am and 3.30pm on March 20 for sewer cover replacement.
No diversion route is available for this closure.
Meanwhile, Minster Way, between its junctions with Wingletye Lane and Upminster Road in Hornchurch, and The Walk at its junction with Minster Way, will be closed from 8am to 5pm daily for carriageway resurfacing until March 21.
Temporary suspension of parking enforcement will be in place for Minster Way, The Walk, Upminster Road, and Wingletye Lane.
The resurfacing work began on March 18.
These closures aim to ensure the safety of both the workers and the public.
The council has stated that all works will be completed as quickly as possible to minimise disruption.
However, it has also noted that the closures may remain in place until the work is completed.
Residents have been asked to bear with the council as it carries out these essential works.
More information about the restrictions can be obtained by contacting the relevant email addresses provided by the council.
