The Mercury Shopping Centre in Romford has launched a series of activities aimed at promoting wellbeing and community engagement.
A Wellness Weekender is scheduled for March 22 to 23, where Wellgate Farm will bring a mix of animals for a special petting experience at £2 per entry.
The Breakfast Club, meeting every Monday from 10am to 12pm, will host wellness-inspired crafts, including spring colouring on March 24 and a guest speaker from mental health charity Mind on March 31.
A food waste action week event, featuring community chef Mark Borrell and the Co-op communities team, will be held today (March 19).

Attendees can learn expert tips on reducing food waste and receive a free McDonald’s reusable bottle while stocks last.
The centre also encourages staying active with its Ageless Teenagers group, meeting every Tuesday on level two, and the Dicing With Life club for board game enthusiasts, gathering on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5.30pm-10pm, and Saturdays from 12pm-10pm.
On Saturday, March 15, the centre hosted a World Kidney Day awareness stall, providing information on kidney health and disease prevention.
