Police were first called to Selinas Lane in Chadwell Heath on Monday (March 17) after reports were made at 5.14pm.
Officers found the suspects boarded at train at Chadwell Heath station.
Two men, aged 18 and 20, and a 16-year-old girl were arrested on suspicion of robbery.
The 18-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker, as it’s alleged he injured an officer while resisting his arrest.
They have been taken to an east London station where they remain in custody.
There were service disruptions on the Elizabeth line between Stratford and Shenfield yesterday due to the arrest at Chadwell Heath.
It affected trains, with lines operating normally at around 8.45pm.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 17:14hrs on Monday, 17 March to reports of a robbery in Selinas Lane, Chadwell Heath.
“Officers attended and located the suspects on board a train at Chadwell Heath Station. An 18-year-old man [A], a 20-year-old man [B] and a 16-year-old girl [C] were all arrested on suspicion of robbery.
“[A] was also arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency working after it is alleged he injured an officer while resisting arrest. They have been taken to an east “London police station where they remain in custody.
“Enquiries continue.”
