The London Borough of Bromley has announced changes to penalty charges and additional fees.
This follows a decision by the London Councils Transport and Environment Committee, which was approved by the Mayor of London.
The decision was made after a one-month period passed without any objections from the Secretary of State for Transport.
The new charges will be implemented in all 32 London boroughs and the City of London.
As of Monday, April 7, parking penalties in Bromley will see a £30 increase.
For Band A, higher-level penalties will rise to £160, but this will be reduced to £80 if paid within 14 days of the Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) being issued.
For Band B, the penalty will be increased to £140, with a reduction to £70 if settled within 14 days.
Lower-level parking penalties will also see a £30 hike.
For Band A, the new penalty will be £110, reduced to £55 if paid within 14 days.
For Band B, the penalty will go up to £90, with a reduction to £45 if paid within 14 days.
Bus lane and moving traffic contraventions will also see a rise.
The penalty for breaking bus lane rules will now be £160, as will the penalty for moving traffic contraventions.
A full list of contraventions and the associated penalties can be found on the London Councils website.
