The Sunday Times has analysed Ofsted data from 2020 to 2025 to break down how satisfied parents are with their children’s happiness.
Every school in the country has been given a score which represents the percentage of parents who said their child was happy at their institution.
Heartlands High School is one of the happiest schools for pupils in England and Wales, according to Sunday Times analysis of data from education regulator Ofsted.
Heartlands, in Station Road, Wood Green, came top in Haringey, scoring 94%.
With 1,166 children on the roll, 149 responses were received from parents.
According to its Ofsted report, staff are passionate and highly dedicated and parents and carers describe the school as a “caring community and value the quality of communication they get from staff”.
In a breakdown of the data available at the Ofsted website, some 55% of parents said their child was happy at school and 93% would recommend it to another parent.
Here are the scores for the remaining schools in Haringey:
Alexandra Park School, Bidwell Gardens, Muswell Hill – 92%
St Thomas More Catholic School, Glendale Avenue, Wood Green – 91%
Park View School, West Green Road, Tottenham – 90%
Fortismere School, Tetherdown, Muswell Hill – 85%
Highgate Wood Secondary School, Montenotte Road – 84%

The Sunday Times said its table only includes secondary schools with at least 500 pupils and 100 parent submissions, which is why some schools are not listed.
