Mitchells & Butlers Leisure Retail Limited has entered the bid to vary the premises licence held by The Ardleigh.
The application is seeking the approval of Havering Council to “remove outdated conditions attached to the premises licence” and to add new conditions.
It appears the application may have been prompted following a reported consultation with police.
If approved, The Ardleigh could see the start time of alcohol on and off the premises extended on Sundays to start from 10am.
This would also be the case for recorded music to be played indoors from 10am on Sundays to create consistency with hours throughout the week.

The terminal hours for recorded music inside the pub could also be extended until 12am from Monday to Saturday and to 11.30pm on Sunday.
The licensing application states that this would match the existing terminal hours for sale of alcohol and late night refreshments across the week.
Any representations about the application should be made by April 4.
