Officers were called to Tweeddale Road at 3.51pm on March 8 following reports of an altercation between a man and a woman.
When they arrived, they found a man with minor stab wounds.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
A 32-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and taken into custody for questioning.
Police are also working to trace at least two other suspects linked to the incident.
Enquiries are ongoing, and officers are urging witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
