The London Ambulance Service was called to the A112 Hoe Street, near its junction with the A503 at 7.20am today (March 4).
A woman was treated at the scene by paramedics before she was taken to hospital.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called today (Tuesday 4 March) at 7.20am to a road traffic collision in Hoe Street, Walthamstow.
“We sent resources to the scene including ambulance crews and a clinical team manager and treated a woman before taking her to a major trauma centre.”
The Metropolitan Police was contacted but could not find the incident in its records.
