It comes after 70 firefighters were dispatched to the blaze at a building with flats above in Watford Way shortly before 1am this morning (March 3).
The London Fire Brigade received the first of thirteen calls reporting the fire at 12.46am, dispatching crews from stations across Mill Hill, Hendon and Finchley.
A section of the A1 was closed in both directions whilst the incident was dealt with.
The cause of the fire has yet to be confirmed, and an investigation is underway.

Barnet Council has revealed that properties stretching from 418 to 430 Watford Way have been impacted in the blaze.
A structural engineer has been sent to the scene to assess the damage, with council buildings at 2 Bristol Avenue opened as an emergency rest centre.
So far, 18 people have been brought to the centre for temporary shelter whilst their properties are looked over.
