From 9pm tonight, February 24, until 5am on Saturday, March 1, Putney High Street, Putney Bridge Road, and Lower Richmond Road will be closed overnight in four phases.
The restrictions are expected to remain in place during these times to facilitate essential resurfacing work.
Phase 1 of the closures will take place from 9pm tonight until 5am tomorrow, February 25, and again from 9pm on Wednesday, February 26, until 5am on Thursday, February 27.
During this phase, parts of Putney High Street will be closed to northbound traffic.
Additionally, Putney Bridge Road will be partly closed for westbound traffic, while Lower Richmond Road will also see partial closures in both directions.
Bus services will be affected during this phase.
Passengers using Route 14 towards Russell Square can catch their bus at Stop C at Putney Hill/St John’s Avenue or Stop L at Fulham Broadway Station.
Routes 22 and 74 will start and finish at Putney Bridge Bus Station, while Routes 39 and 93 will begin and end at Tibbets Ride.
Route 85 will also start and finish at Green Man/Putney Heath.
For those using Route 220 towards Willesden Junction Station, they can catch their bus at Stop X at Wandsworth Police Station or Stop FK at Fulham Palace Road/Bishop’s Park Road.
Routes 265 and 378 will start and finish at Putney Common, while Route 270 will operate from Armoury Way.
Route 424 towards Fulham can be accessed at Stop C at Putney Hill/St John’s Avenue or Stop TU at Townmead Road/Wandsworth Bridge.
Phase 2 will commence from 9pm on Tuesday, February 25, to 5am on Wednesday, February 26.
During this phase, both Lower Richmond Road and Putney Bridge Road will be partly closed.
Bus services will again be impacted, with Route 22 starting and finishing at Putney Bridge Bus Station.
Passengers using Routes 220 and 270 towards Willesden Junction and Putney Bridge can catch their buses at Stop X at Wandsworth Police Station or Stops S or T at St Mary’s Church/Putney Pier.
Those travelling on Routes 265 and N72 towards Tolworth and Putney Heath can board at Stop FE at Putney Bridge Station/Gonville Street or Stop P at Rosslyn Park Rugby FC.
Phase 3 will take place from 9pm on Thursday, February 27, to 5am on Friday, February 28, and again from 9pm on Monday, March 3, to 5am on Tuesday, March 4.
During this phase, Lower Richmond Road, Putney Bridge Road, and Putney High Street will be partly closed.
Bus services will be affected again, with Route 14 towards Putney Heath stopping at Stop M at Fulham Broadway Station or Stop P at Putney Hill/Lytton Grove.
Routes 74 and 22 will start and finish at Putney Bridge Station and Putney Bridge Bus Station, respectively.
Route 378 will also operate from Putney Common.
Finally, Phase 4 will occur from 9pm on Friday, February 28, to 5am on Saturday, March 1.
During this phase, Putney Bridge Road will be partly closed.
Passengers using Routes 220 towards Willesden Junction and Putney Bridge can catch their buses at Stop X at Wandsworth Police Station or Stops S and T at St Mary’s Church/Putney Pier.
The planned road closures are necessary for the resurfacing works, and drivers and passengers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly.
