Here are all the London bus changes from Saturday (February 22)
Saturday February 22 – Sunday, February 23:
Routes affected: Gatwick Express, Southern (London Victoria to Brighton/Littlehampton/Ore), Thameslink (Bedford/Cambridge to Brighton)
- Details:
- Gatwick Express / Southern: Buses will replace trains between Three Bridges and Preston Park/Lewes and between Balcombe and Brighton.
- Direct trains will run from London Victoria to Brighton via Horsham and Littlehampton, but expect extended journey times.
- Trains between London Victoria and Littlehampton via Hove won’t run.
- Trains between Brighton and Eastbourne/Hastings will run with a revised timetable.
- Thameslink: No services between Three Bridges and Brighton.
- If you’re traveling to/from Brighton, tickets will be accepted on direct trains via Littlehampton. For stations between Three Bridges and Preston Park, tickets are accepted on Southern trains.
Saturday February 22 – Sunday, February 23:
Routes affected: Southern (Eastbourne/Hastings to Ashford International)
- Details: Engineering work will close all lines between Hastings and Ashford International. Buses will replace trains.
Sunday, February 23 (before 9am):
Routes affected: Southern (London Bridge to London Victoria/Caterham)
- Details:
- Trains between London Bridge and Crystal Palace will be replaced with buses via New Cross Gate.
- Trains to Caterham will be diverted via Selhurst, with longer journey times.
- Trains between London Bridge and Victoria will run between Crystal Palace and London Victoria instead.
