Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service were called at 2pm this afternoon (February 21) with reports of the incident.
The crash occurred at the junction of Bentley Road and Kingsland Road and involved a bike and car.
An ambulance crew were dispatched to the scene where they located the cyclist.
He was taken to hospital as a priority and his condition is yet to be confirmed.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at about 14:10hrs on Friday, 21 February to reports of a collision involving a car and cyclist on Kingsland Road in Hackney.
“Emergency services attended. The cyclist was taken to hospital. We await an update on his condition.”
The road remains closed following the incident, with local bus services diverted.
