According to the most recent public data obtained by The Spectator magazine from the 2023 UCAS application cycle, Newham Collegiate Sixth Form Centre (The NCS) achieved a 29.20 per cent success rate for Oxbridge applications.
This surpasses Eton College, which achieved 28.92 per cent.
The NCS said the data showed it had the highest Oxbridge application success rate in Newham and is one of the best sixth forms in London for student outcomes.
According to The NCS, every applicant is given tailored guidance, ensuring their individual strengths are showcased for the course that best supports their personal goals.
Principal Anita Lomax said: “We focus on improving the life chances and social mobility of our students by equipping them with the skills, confidence, and support to succeed at the highest levels.
“Our students’ success is not just a reflection of academic preparation—it’s about ensuring every student has access to the same opportunities as their peers at elite schools.”
