Kip Hideaways, a holiday accommodation company, has selected Richmond’s Bingham Riverhouse as one of the top “romantic stays” in the UK for Valentine’s Day.
The Bingham Riverhouse, which overlooks the Thames, offers a wrap-around balcony where couples can watch boats pass by.
The hotel also provides guests with the option of borrowing a two-person kayak to float along the Thames.
Kip Hideaways praised the hotel for its “incredible sustainable restaurant” and for having a “deep copper bathtub” where guests can order champagne with room service.
This announcement comes just after Richmond was named the best place to live in England for 2024.
The best place to live guide, compiled by The Sunday Times, praised Richmond for its “vibrant” community, good schools, and “fantastic” transport links.
It also highlighted Richmond’s abundance of green spaces, including Richmond Park, Kew Gardens, and the Richmond Riverside.
