The incident was reported between Euston and Milton Keynes Central at around 11am today (January 15).
National Rail confirmed that trains between these stations may be delayed by up to 120 minutes, cancelled or revised.

It has affected Avanti West Coast and London Northwestern Railway services with disruption to last until 3pm.
The nature of the incident is unknown.
