Officers from the Metropolitan Police were called just before 10am today (January 3) with reports of a man found dead in Engineers Way.
The crime scene blocked off an entrance to the building (Image: Newsquest London) They were dispatched to the scene with colleagues from the London Ambulance Service, where the man was located.
Paramedics administered first aid, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene a short while later.
A passerby who was in the area at around 11am told this paper that she had seen “lots of police and ambulances” in the area.

It is believed that he fell from a height (Image: Newsquest London) A spokesperson for the Met has confirmed that the man is “believed to have fallen from a height”.
The death is not believed to be suspicious and enquiries are underway to trace and inform his next of kin.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
