The awards recognise exceptional talent and dedication in the food industry.
The south east London finalists are Naifs in Peckham for Restaurant of the Year, The Corner Café in Lambeth for Café/Bistro of the Year, AGORA in Beckenham for Best Mediterranean Establishment, and Tofu East Asian Canteen in Crystal Palace for Best Oriental Establishment.
Oceanic Awards, the organisers, select finalists based on public nominations and industry knowledge.
To be eligible, establishments must have been operational for at least 12 months.
Irfan Younis, Spokesperson for the 9th Food Awards England, said: “It’s exciting for us to once again shine a spotlight on the top establishments and businesses that have managed to stand out in such a busy food scene.
“This year’s finalists have all been distinguished as the real masters in their field due to their hard work and dedication to customer satisfaction.
“We would like to congratulate all of our finalists and wish them the best of luck.”
Many of the finalists run successful campaigns to rally support, showcasing strong community ties.
The public were able to nominate their favourite establishments via online platforms and social media.
Voting will continue until one week prior to the event.
The winners will be announced at an elegant ceremony where some of the country’s top professionals will come together to celebrate each other’s accomplishments and the food industry as a whole.
