South Western train services may be cancelled, delayed, or revised until the person’s condition has been assessed by staff from the Ambulance Service.
The disruption is expected to be in place until 7pm today (April 26).
Services towards London Waterloo will be disrupted.
Passengers travelling is advised to speak to a member of staff or use a station help point.
A statement on the South Western Railway website says: “Train services running through this station may be cancelled, delayed or revised. Disruption is expected until 19:00 26/04.
“We have been informed that a passenger has taken ill onboard a train at Wimbledon.
“Until the person’s condition has been assessed by staff from the Ambulance Service the train is unable to continue its journey.
“For further information or onward travel advice please speak to a member of staff or use a station help point.
“We are very sorry for any delay that this may cause to your journey.”
