The British no1 battled from a set down to beat Australia’s Alexei Popyrin 3-6 6-2 7-6(5) to set up a last-eight clash against the American.

Draper has struggled with illness during his preparations for Wimbledon, which he will enter as Britain’s best hope, but is enjoying his best season on tour after winning an ATP 1000 title at Indian Wells in March.

Nakashima has not had as fruitful a year as his opponent, but got the better of fellow Briton Dan Evans to set up this afternoon’s clash.

These two have played each other twice before, claiming one victory apiece. Draper won most recently, when the pair met last year in the BOSS Open semi-finals.

Draper vs Nakashima start time

Draper vs Nakashima will take place today, Friday, June 20, 2025.

The match has been scheduled as second in the Andy Murray Arena, after Jacob Fearnley vs Jiri Lehecka, with players likely to walk out onto the court at approximately 1.30pm BST.
