The Briton has largely struggled for form in 2025 and arrived in Miami having fallen to a tame first-round defeat at Indian Wells, after which she ended a brief trial with Slovakian coach Vladimir Platenik.
But Raducanu has been hugely impressive over the past week, winning four main-draw matches in a row for the first time since her stunning victory at the 2021 US Open.
Raducanu now faces her toughest test yet, against world number four Pegula. The pair have met twice before, with the American winning in Cincinnati in 2022 and Raducanu coming out on top at Eastbourne last year.
The winner of this match will face either Iga Swiatek or Alexandra Eala in the semi-finals.

The Miami Open quarter-final between Raducanu and Pegula will take place tonight, Wednesday March 26, 2025.
It is scheduled to be the fourth match played on the Stadium Court, and will start at 11pm GMT at the earliest.
