Fury, who turned 26 this week, is in the Hungarian capital of Budapest for a six-round main event at cruiserweight as he bids to get back on track after what he described as the worst year of his life in 2024.
However, Fury revealed last year that he had been secretly dealing with a serious right hand injury for four years and was forced to undergo surgery.
He was supposed to return to the ring back in February at Co-op Live for a crossover showdown on Misfits with former UFC fighter Darren Till, only to withdraw from that bout over concerns at Till threatening to use MMA tactics in the ring.
Instead the unbeaten 10-0 Fury now battles Hanjalic, a 27-year-old Bosnian boxer with five wins and only one defeat on his professional record to date.
What time is Tommy Fury fight tonight?
Friday night’s undercard features another undefeated Fury brother in Roman, who takes on Josip Pehar of Croatia in only his fifth professional contest at heavyweight.
The undercard at MTK Arena in Budapest is due to begin at 7pm BST, with ring walks for the main event expected at approximately 10pm.
As ever with boxing, those timings are subject to change and may be revised.
