Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service were called at 10.04am today (April 11) with reports of a crash on Westferry Road.
An ambulance crew and paramedic in a fast response car were dispatched to the scene, where a woman was found injured.
She was treated at the scene before being taken to a major trauma centre.
Video footage seen by this paper shows a crime scene in place near the Westferry DLR station.
We have contacted the Metropolitan Police for their comment.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 10.04am today (11 April) to reports of a road traffic collision on Westferry Road, E14.
“We sent an ambulance crew and a paramedic in a fast response car to the scene.
“We treated a woman at the scene and took her to a major trauma centre.”
