It comes after the Crown Prosecution Service authorised the Metropolitan Police Service to make the charges after detectives submitted a file of evidence.
The Met has issued a charge and requisition to Thomas Partey, 32, of Hertfordshire in connection to five counts of rape and a count of sexual assault.
Two of the counts of rape relate to one woman, with the remaining three counts of rape relating to a second woman.
The single count of sexual assault relates to a third woman.
These alleged offences were reported to have taken place between 2021 and 2022, with an investigation commencing in February 2022 following the first report of rape.
Det Supt Andy Furphy said: “Our priority remains providing support to the women who have come forward.
