The Pearl, in Hornchurch High Street, is reopening today (November 14) at 11.30am, the restaurant announced on its Facebook page.
It comes after the restaurant posted on social media on Monday (November 11) that a driver had lost control and driven into the kitchen, causing “significant damage”.
The restaurant cancelled all reservations and said it would not be open “during the repair and legal proceedings” – but is now back up and running.
In a Facebook post yesterday, The Pearl said: “Attention, our valued friends and customers.
“First and foremost, we’d like to thank each and every one of you for your well wishes and condolences. This means a great deal to us.
“We’re pleased to announce that we’ll be back at your service tomorrow morning at 11.30am.”
It added that all cancelled reservations will be contacted again.
The Recorder understands that two members of staff were injured during the incident – and that both are doing well.

A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 1.56pm on November 11 to reports of a road traffic collision in High Street, Hornchurch.
“We sent a paramedic in a fast response car and an incident response officer to the scene.
“We checked a patient over at the scene but they did not need to be taken to hospital.”
