The Engineer, dating back to the 1800s and named in honour of Isambard Kingdom Brunel, has undergone a refresh and is once more welcoming locals and visitors.
The pub, which sits in one of London’s leafiest areas, now offers a brand-new menu crafted by head chef Nino Sadallah.

On Sundays, The Engineer offers a selection of roasts with all the trimmings, including a 16oz sharing Chateaubriand, aged sirloin of beef, and a walnut roast.
The pub’s bar menu features a range of cocktails, craft ales, beers, ciders, and low and no-alcohol drinks.

The Engineer’s interior combines traditional pub character with a modern touch, its owners say.
The ground floor bar leads to a walled garden, and the snug offers a cosy setting for up to 20 standing or 10 seated.
The dining area seats 24 guests, while the upstairs Brunel dining room, which overlooks Primrose Hill, can accommodate 38 seated and 60 standing for private events.
