It will now be part of the Stonegate Group’s Pubsmiths division, a select group of British pubs known for their great food, welcoming atmosphere, and the promise of a fun and relaxing experience.
After a full redecoration, the venue now boasts stylish new furniture and lighting, which aim to enhance the visitor experience while maintaining the pub’s historic charm.

Two large HD TV screens have also been added to improve the pub’s sport-watching facilities.
The new, modern booths will provide a more comfortable drinking and dining experience, ideal for bottomless brunches and leisurely drinks.
General manager at The Bridge Tap, Magdalena Gorszczaryk, said: “It’s amazing to see The Bridge Tap looking so fresh after this huge investment – we can’t wait to show everyone around.
“The team has stayed the same, the welcome’s just as warm, and we’ve got loads of exciting events coming up.”

The Bridge Tap has also entered into a partnership with Gingerbread, a charity that supports single-parent families.
Pub goers can now add donations to their bill when visiting.
The pub is a dog-friendly venue, offering water and treats for canine companions.
It continues to offer a fine selection of beers, ciders, and wines, as well as an extensive range of low and non-alcoholic drinks.
An exciting new menu of pub classics and award-winning pies has also been introduced.
Ms Gorszczaryk added: “This move to Pubsmiths is all about enhancing the overall guest experience, and with how much Southwark loves our pub, we’re confident they’ll really appreciate the hard work that’s gone into improving the pub and will love trying out our new food and drink offering.”
The Bridge Tap is set to reopen with a bang, hosting the Jubel Launch Party this Friday, 28th Nov.
A special live band will be performing from 5 pm until midnight, and the first Fizz Friday will see bottles of fizz on special offer.
The pub also boasts a packed weekly schedule, with deals such as lunch and a drink available every day of the week.
