Emergency repairs are underway after the burst water pipe in Purley Way, CR0, left dozens of homes without water today (March 11).
Thames Water has confirmed that it plans to fix the issue “within three hours” of starting the repairs, which began at 10.45am.
A spokesperson for Thames Water added: “We’re sorry if you are experiencing low pressure or no water.
“If we think it’s going to take longer, we’ll update this message and tell you when we think supplies will return.”
Thames Water said it is “working hard” to get things back to normal as soon as possible.
“We will provide more information on this work as soon as we have a further update,” a spokesperson added.
